LEAGUE REQUIREMENTS

League Membership Requirements

  • Any organized league that conducts league play within the state of Wisconsin or Upper Peninsula of Michigan shall be eligible for membership in the WSPA.
  • Any league seeking membership in the WSPA who operates organized league play in bordering states in addition to Wisconsin shall be eligible for membership if all of the following apply:
    1. League must play not less than fifty percent (50%) of league matches within the borders of the State of Wisconsin.
    2. League Operator shall supply the WSPA with schedule of play, and addresses to each location participating in league.
  • Leagues will be required to submit a League Operator & Sanction Application Form.
  • The WSPA reserves the right to turn down any applicant for any reason.
  • Nights of protection will be handled as needed on a case-by-case basis.
  • League Operators must provide an email address which the WSPA will use to contact for association business or sponsor purposes only.

League Requirements and Player Sanctioning

Leagues sanctioning with more than one association must adhere to the strictest requirements set forth by any given association.

  • Leagues must consist of a minimum of 20 players. Leagues with less than 20 players can request an exception by the WSPA. The WSPA will review this request and rule on a case-by-case basis.
  • Leagues must have a minimum of an eight (8) week schedule.
  • It is permissible for leagues to run double header nights, but is at the discretion of League Operators and the other associations your league may sanction with.
  • The WSPA will not require substitutes to pay sanctioning dues until their fourth league match.
  • Leagues will submit player information and dues once per month and after the final week of league play, along with league statistics if they are not available online.
  • Annual player sanction fee is $15.00.

Tournament Eligibility

  • Any player having shot a minimum of four matches in the same league will be eligible to compete in the WSPA State Championships.
